Is Revival Possible?

Is Revival Possible?

In this time of apostasy (falling away-becoming crooked, perverse, vain) is it possible for God to bring a revival? The story of Jonah should provide hope that God can change an entire city of more than 500,000.  The revival that the unwilling prophet Jonah brought a hundred more years to that people (Nineveh, Assyria). God can and will change the environment if we will believe his word! Darkness is coming, the night is coming, but until it comes let us work with fervor, faith, and fire! God will give this world a revival because Jesus is worthy to receive many souls, he is WORTHY (Psalms 2:8).

Zec 10:1  Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.

We must ask God to fufill his Word and must know the operations of his hands, we must be the clay and allow him to be the potter!

Jas 5:7  Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.
Jas 5:8  Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

Right before a child comes into this world naturally there is a breaking forth of water. This is the last sign before great travail. Blood and water mixed right before heavy sorrows take hold to bring forth life.

Isa 45:11  Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.

Here the prophet Isaiah tells us that we command and can move the hands of God, as a potter! We can cause his hands to chasten us, or bless us through our actions and attitudes.

Elijah knew the operation of God, and God told him to pray for the heavens to be shut up and he told him to pray that the heavens would be opened (James 5:17). Elijah went and bowed upon his knees and travailed and sent his servant to scan the heavens for rain clouds, not one blessing was in the sky for six times, but on the seventh time the servant returned the Bible says, “And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man's hand…(1King 18:44 a). He saw the hand of God in the clouds, Beltshazzer saw the hand of the Lord write on the wall his judgment, because his disregard of the holy things of the Lord which shook him to his core.

"Thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt offerings; neither hast thou honoured me with thy sacrifices. I have not caused thee to serve with an offering, nor wearied thee with incense. Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities (Isa 43:23-24).

I once saw a picture of many Filipinos slain under the mighty power of God, the statistic was wonderful: many saved, many sanctified, many baptized in the Holy Ghost, but what was staggering when the person took the photo to the developer there was a picture of a hand over those people in REVIVAL!   God help us again, Revive US AGAIN, and AGAIN, and AGAIN until all that can be seen is the work of the Lord in our lives!

You must admit you are a sinner, confess your sin to Jesus, repent (turn from all you know is wrong), ask Jesus to come in your heart, and begin to follow Jesus by reading and obeying his word and go to a bible believing church that teaches his word. And tell someone what Christ Jesus Has Done For You (Rev 12:10)
May God through Christ bless you!
