Has Satan Been Tampering With The Fellowship Offering?

Matt 13:33
Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
Luke 13:20-21
And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God? It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
Gen 18:6
And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.

Lev 2:1-11 (Meal Offering- fellowship offering)
1.     And when any will offer a meat offering unto the LORD, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense thereon:
2.     And he shall bring it to Aaron's sons the priests: and he shall take thereout his handful of the flour thereof, and of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof; and the priest shall burn the memorial of it upon the altar, to be an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD:
3.     And the remnant of the meat offering shall be Aaron's and his sons': it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.
4.      And if thou bring an oblation of a meat offering baken in the oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.
5.      And if thy oblation be a meat offering (meal offering) baken in a pan, it shall be of fine flour unleavened, mingled with oil.
6.      Thou shalt part it in pieces, and pour oil thereon: it is a meat offering.
7.      And if thy oblation be a meat offering baken in the frying pan, it shall be made of fine flour with oil.
8.     And thou shalt bring the meat offering that is made of these things unto the LORD: and when it is presented unto the priest, he shall bring it unto the altar.
9.      And the priest shall take from the meat offering a memorial thereof, and shall burn it upon the altar: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
10.  And that which is left of the meat offering shall be Aaron's and his sons': it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.
11.   No meat offering, which ye shall bring unto the LORD, shall be made with leaven: for ye shall burn no leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of the LORD made by fire.

I The Fellowship Offering (Matt 13:33, Lk 13:20-21, Gen 18:6, Lev 2:1-11). As we begin are investigation looking for fingerprints of tampering and infiltration, we need first to understand what these verses teach the saints and how they apply to the New Testament Covenant. As we look at the first two verses in the gospels in Matthew and Luke, we are introduced to a woman by Jesus who is leavening three loafs of bread. On face value it seems like a harmless gesture to prepare bread for hungry souls. As we rightly divide the scripture (cutting the sacrifice correctly that it might cause the recipient to be acceptable to God-straight teaching or said another way orthodoxy) we must first understand that many scriptures can have both a positive and negative denotation depending on how the Holy Ghost applies these verses to the believers heart and mind. Both sides of the coin could be applied here, to illustrate what is meant, take for instance the invention of the airplane which has been a great invention and allows man to travel very quickly to all of the corners of the globe which can help increase the completion of the Great Commission (Matt 28:18-20). The other side of that invention is that planes have made warfare much more deadly and have killed countless millions of souls due to this increase of technology. Job said,  And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double to that which is!” (Job 11:6).

First, let us investigate who this woman is from the New Testament prospective. She is introduced by Christ to his disciples, but he does not give her name. Thus we must figure out who she is, by what she does. There are three particular women revealed in the New Testament who are mysterious. Israel in (Rev 12), The Bride (Rev 19, 21), and the Whore (Rev 17). On face value this could apply to the church spreading the gospel in the world with the influence of the Spirit of God and changing the composition of this evil world. Sure many take this explanation and move on, or could this verse have much more to it than initially thought? One most notice that Jesus speaks about the three measures of  bread, which to the Jew refers to (Gen 18:6) where the three heavenly guests visited Abraham and he made three measures of meal. The Jews during Passover also use three unleavened pieces of bread which by tradition are referred to as Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and it is the middle piece of bread that is broken and passed around in the Passover called the afikomen, that Jesus used to establish the Lord’s Supper. Now believers in the New Testament know that that bread represents Christ Jesus and the New Testament teachings that he taught. Jesus said I am that bread of life that came down from heaven, and that man does not live by physical bread alone but by every word that proceeds from God.

So if the bread, the fellowship believers have with God is the New Testament, the Word or Jesus Christ (John 1:14), what then is the leaven? Could that be the Holy Ghost, maybe if applied at Pentecost, but leaven in the Bible usually symbolizes evil and pride (1 Cor 5:1-9). In Leviticus 2:11 regarding the meal offerings they were not to put leaven in them or honey (carnal pleasure -natural thinking). So this woman according to Jewish teaching (which was his initial audience) is doing something unlawful to the fellowship offering. So of the three mysterious women in the book of Revelation we can deduce that this woman Jesus is referring to is the harlot of Revelation (Rev 17). So who is in the modern world this harlot of Revelation? The answer to that question is best described in a book written by Dave Hunt called, “A Woman Rides the Beast” (Electronic Copy Free http://www.friendsofsabbath.org/Further_Research/Paganism%20&%20RCC/A-Woman-Rides-the-Beast-by-Dave-Hunt.pdf-Free). To be candid, the Bible says regarding the prostitute that she has forsaken the guide of her youth and forgot her covenant with God (Prov 2:16-17). This is the Roman Catholic Church with all of her daughters ( churches that came out of her who have perverted the doctrines of Christ). For time sake if you would like more on this topic read the book, you will not be disappointed.

So why would this so-called Christian Church pervert the fellowship offering of believers in Jesus? We must be brief, but from around (500 AD – 1500 AD) the Medieval church kept the Bible away from people who attended their churches and only taught them what would profit this church (the work of a whore).  During the Reformation, beginning with Martin Luther in Germany the Bible was put back in the hands of believers and God transformed Europe with his power. The only countries in Europe that remained loyal to The Roman Pope was Spain and Italy and that was due to the inquisition. So the leadership began a counter reformation led by Jesuits or the Society of Jesus whose ultimate goal was to cause the countries and people who left the Roman Catholic Church to return to their auspice and control. The greatest opponent to accomplishing this task was the Bible written in the common tongue of those people. So a plan was devised that the best way to cause people to question the Bible was to introduce questions to the text itself. Three major texts that have never been used in history until the last century have been introduced into Biblical scholarship which has brought much debate as to what the text really saying all of which have been introduced by Rome. These new manuscripts are called Codex Sinaiticus- from St Catherine’s monastery (Greek Orthodox) , Vaticanus-from the Vatican Library, and Alexandrinus- (Catholic or Greek Orthodox?). Thus the grand old question posed in the garden has come upon believers again “Hath God said?” Which is right, what version is best? Thus the leavening of truth has become evident and the blessed Bible has come into question through textual criticism and so-called modern scholarship. But the old question that the Psalmist wrote is now more true than ever before, if the foundation be destroyed what shall the righteous do (Psa 11:3)? The best version in English is the Old KJV, in other languages believers need to find the Textus Receptus (Received Text) as the underlying text to their translation in whatever language that may be.

If you have never accepted or if you have fallen away from Jesus Christ here are three steps you need to take to be saved:

You must admit you are a sinner, confess your sin to Jesus, repent (turn from all you know is wrong), ask Jesus to come in your heart, and begin to follow Jesus by reading and obeying his word and go to a bible believing church that teaches his word. And tell someone what Christ Jesus Has Done For You (Rev 12:10)
May God through Christ bless you!
